Phos-tag™ Acrylamide AAL-107 10mg

For the separation of phosphorylated proteins using a self-made acrylamide gel. Phos-tag Acrylamide AAL-107 is used for the separation of phosphorylated proteins using a self-made acrylamide gel. The acrylamide-pendant Phos-tag ligand can be used for mobility shift detection of phosphorylated proteins using phosphate affinity SDS-PAGE. The procedure is based on a conventional SDS-PAGE but Phos-tag is incorporated into the gel which retards the progression of the phosphorylated proteins and thus enables the separation of phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated molecules. After the separation the gel can be used for further downstream analysis such as Western blotting or MALDI-TOF MS. This product is for research use only.
